The weather forecast looked iffy today, so I decided to "take a raincheck" with someone I was meant to meet up with early this afternoon. I'm glad that I did, because although only an inch or two of snow fell it left the roads in a mess. The Girl's dance class was also cancelled.
The snow won't hang around for long - temperatures are set to rise and we'll probably be in shorts and t-shirts by the middle of the week.
While it's here, though, checking the snow in the front yard for prints each morning can be quite diverting. We've had deer munching on our shrubs, evidently, and some foxy looking pawprints crossed the driveway in the night.
