It turned into another day of to-ing and fro-ing, what with the Girl having a dental appointment and other such errands. At one point I was stuck on the road outside her school just as the school buses started to leave the grounds. Perfectly bad timing. A policeman stands holding up the traffic as a fleet of forty buses streams out, bus after bus after bus, heading all over the district to take all the kids home. It's impressive, like a herd of big yellow wildebeest suddenly crossing your path.
We are still waiting to catch the last, super-light mouse. Meanwhile this morning the Man spotted some interesting tracks outside leading under our three-season room. Something bigger than a mouse (but smaller than a wildebeest). By the fingery pawprints I'm guessing a racoon or a skunk...
We have snow as well ! Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas ! Supermarket shelves stripped at 8am
