Going for cold
Our kids seem to be impervious to the weather. Even today, when the starting temperature was 11F (about -11C) the Girl would not deign to wear a coat as she strolled up the street to catch her bus, and the Boy's only concession to the cold was to put a sweater on under his lightweight hoodie before he cycled to school.
