Sweet little Santa

The Man is not usually much of a one for whimsical gifts, but this Christmas he was inspired to buy me this:


It's from Crisan, a coffee shop and "edible art gallery" on Lark Street in Albany.

Santa looks a bit scared, as well he might, given that it's now after Twelfth Night and he's made of marzipan. 


What does one do with an edible Santa when Christmas is over?

    Paint it green and use it on St Ps Day. Then plant it out to grow into a full gnome

    Blimey, just looked at the Crisan link - edible jewellery and garments. Not sure you'd want to go out in the giant toffee choker in the middle of summer.

    Marzipan lasts for ever. Put the little fellow away in the loft and bring him out next Christmas.

    No, surely you eat him (being edible and all that) and then your lovely hubby buys you next year's model next year....
