All sewn up

We had the last sewing class of the school year today. Unusually, it was a calm and peaceful affair.

Last week a student asked if we could sew popsicles, and I was pleased to oblige, especially when I realised it could also be a chance for the kids to practise embelleshing with beads.

So here it is, the unmeltable ice-lolly. It's a silly thing (what do you do with it?) but everyone went away happy with their efforts.

For my part, I've enjoyed the challenge of coming up with projects week after week, and I'm very happy that all the kids I've taught this year have managed to master a creative and useful skill.
