Who needs a Wii...
...when you've got a wind-up gramophone?
While the Man has been off skiing with colleagues tonight, the kids and I have amused ourselves with some good old-fashioned stay-at-home fun: sewing, cardboard modelling and gathering round my HMV gramophone listening to 78s. We don't often take it out, but this evening we decided to crank it up and spin some scratchy discs.

Well, of course this is more fun that Rock Band, but that's hardly a fair comparison. Instead, I urge you to log into Pandora, make 'In The Mood Radio' and listen to it with the food-processor running while cleaning a potter's wheel with a tooth pick. Now that's fun!
