My sewing group came through with some lovely hearts for Haiti. We displayed them today at the school's front desk, along with bead bracelets made by the Girl's class, and we did a roaring trade. We were asking for donations of a dollar plus, and within just a couple of hours we'd raised more than $130.
We'll keep on selling for a few more days, then we'll be sending off a cheque to Save the Children. The kids feel rightly proud of their efforts and achievement.
