We weren't quite snowed in today (my Dad made sure of that), but it was very cold and made colder by the wind which blew the sharp fresh snow around like sand in the desert. Some members of the family ventured out to the library and the Man made it to the supermarket and the YMCA, but otherwise we've kept at home in the warm. 
...Except for a little light sledding, that is. Not the kids, who claimed the conditions weren't quite to their liking, but the Man and I took a few turns down our neighbour's slope. As you can see, I take my pleasures very seriously.
