It's hardly surprising. The temperature's rising... The weatherman says that three consecutive days in the 90s constitutes a heatwave. So that's where we are. And it has felt more like the 100s today with high humidity and zero breeze.
With the end of the school year looming ever closer and a trip to the UK just a week away, I spent the morning running errands. The Girl meanwhile had a school trip on an Albany Aquaduck, an amphibious vehicle that tours the city before plunging into the Hudson River (much as the Sat Nav in our rental car thought I was doing once, now I come to think of it). I gather it was a good outing, though as ever the Girl has been a bit short on details.
