Intensive farming
Having spent all of yesterday 'out', we didn't mind spending today 'in'. I had some jobs to get done, and the kids were happy enough to amuse themselves. Just in case they couldn't think of what to do, at breakfast I cunningly hinted that I was planning on throwing out all the farm toys since no-one has played with them for ages... That bought at least two quiet hours of dedicated farming make-believe.
