Our Visitor has asked me to say that he had a very nice day today (and yesterday, he adds) so I hope that is true.
Our favourite
Indian Ladder Trail, last visited in
October, is open again, so we took ourselves back there this morning and had a great time. We then followed a shallow stream for a long way, the kids choosing to hop from rock to rock in the stream itself singing 'We're going on an adventure!' It was inevitable that one of them would end up getting wet. It happened to be the Boy. No matter, as the Man was able to air-dry the trousers out of the car window while we drove onwards to Altamont.
A snack, then home again for an afternoon of quiet pursuits. The Man and Visitor later went out to Five Rivers and were surprised to see some enormous turtles in the lake.
