...it absolutely buckets down. We were at a shopping plaza today when the heavens opened. Thunder, lightning, hail and monsoon-like rain. We'd been about to set off home, but had to shelter in a shop for nearly half an hour for fear of being washed away en route to the car. They certainly know how to do weather in this country.
We are nearly ready for our trip to England. The children are wildly excited and have spent much of the day discussing what to pack. Which leaves us adults feeling like such killjoys when we have to say No to the almost-lifesized cuddly leopard, and to the toy with multiple small parts 'for the aeroplane journey'. My packing focus is on suitable clothes for the British summer - I gather woolly jumpers may be in order.
Don't care what you wear just can't wait to see you!
