Temperatures shot up to the 90s today, with high humidity - my hair has gone all curly. It hasn't been a particularly productive day, though we did manage to go out for an ice-cream.
Months ago I mentioned that my favourite radio channel was contributing subliminally to the economic downturn by playing 'Stormy Weather' during the stock market report. We realised that actually they have a selection of tunes, the two other choices being rather more upbeat: 'It don't mean a thing (if it ain't got that swing)' and the very optimistic 'We're in the Money!'
