Pool players

The kids got home from school today to find the pool swimmable and warm enough (just about) for them both to take the plunge for the first time this year.  Wa-hey!  Throwing in a couple of new inflatables, bought at the weekend, their joy was complete.

The water's still a bit too bracing to entice me.  The Man's made of stronger stuff, however, and he followed his children in after dinner tonight.  

The Girl is honing her diving skills again, taking up where she left off last year.  The Boy, for now, is mostly just jumping in splashily, as often as his skinny self can take it before he starts turning blue.  And right now he's sensibly thawing in a hot bath.
