Hotting up and cooling down

Summer started this evening at 7.08pm local time. Appropriately the day started warm, and got steadily hotter - well into the 90sF.  Adding high humidity, it felt more like 100 degrees. 

Tomorrow is set to be even hotter...

So, we were glad of the pool today, as were some friends who stopped by to enjoy it with us.  We'll undoubtedly be glad of it tomorrow, too.  Not to mention tonight - it's a great way to cool off just before bedtime, lit by a fantastic light show provided by flickering fireflies.
