A little bit Grand

The Man had found a website that described the Plotter Kill Preserve as "the Capital Region's Grand Canyon".  So we thought we'd better go back and take another look, and this time explore the main trail.

Not entirely to our surprise, it turns out Plotter Kill is the Capital Region's Grand Canyon in the same way that Cohoes Falls is the Capital Region's Niagara, or Five Rivers Environmental Center is the Capital Region's Yellowstone (there is wildlife there, and you might just happen to run into an old geezer).  But it provided us with an energetic hike, some waterfall views and a few adventures along the way, so that was all good.  Given our area's other, technological, claim to fame, I think it'd be fair to call it the "Nano Grand Canyon".
