Another day spent buzzing about on various fair tradey errands - collecting show-and-tell items for a presentation next week, putting up posters advertising a speaker meeting, finalising details with FT vendors for a special event at the Farmers' Market this Saturday... I didn't actually set out to have so much going on for Fair Trade Month, it has just panned out this way. All good. Whether political vagaries mean we ever get the official Fair Trade Town designation or not, it certainly feels as if (in all but name) we're a FT Town already.
The Boy reports that the eco-columns are in use - they've been planted with vegetation, and fish and snails moved in yesterday. The latter arrived by post, giving today's title a satisfyingly literal twist.
