Fall clear-up

That time of year is here again - raking season.  We have a huge tree that is always last to get leaves in the spring and first to shed them again in the fall, and all by itself it had already covered the back lawn.  We've cleared it - for the moment.  But it's going to be rake-and-repeat for the next few weeks now.

It has been a beautiful day here, and we managed to get quite a few jobs done outside - clearing the deck etc.  The Man mowed, possibly for the last time this year (he hopes so, anyway).

Tonight after dinner we surprised ourselves by having a good old fashioned family sing-song.  Not exactly an old-fashioned number though:  we rocked the dining room with the song from Harry Potter Puppet Pals: The Mysterious Ticking Noise.
