OK, so when's the heatwave?

It felt like early Spring today - sunny and fresh, the snow melting in the yard.  But hang on, the leaves on the trees are all the wrong colour...  Oh, it's all very confusing.

I waited in for the computer guy to come and fix the internet.  Stuck at home, and no computer to play with....hm, what to do?  Well, who'd ever have thought the house could look so tidy?

Halloween tonight, of course - that ghastly, ghoulish festival of candy.  A few trick-or-treaters called by.  My favourites were two kids from up the road, dressed as Lego blocks.  Our own Boy and Girl went separate ways tonight, each with their own bunch of friends.  But they'd chosen a similar costume theme:  the Boy was Poseidon, God of the Sea, and the Girl was Persephone, Goddess of Spring - perhaps inspired by today's out-of-season "season".
