Branching out
Yesterday's snow wasn't particularly spectacular in quantity, though it has caused some effects. All round the neighbourhood today people have had to lug big branches out to the side of the road for collection - that's the problem when you get a lot of wet, heavy snow on trees still covered with leaves. We've lost several branches from our own backyard trees.
Five Rivers looked spectacular in this morning's brilliant sunshine.
There was also a power outage for about five hours in the middle of the night. Not a problem at the time as we slept through it, but it must have caused a surge, which has knocked out our internet. We'll get it fixed tomorrow, but for now I'm blogging (early) at an internet cafe. There's dedication for you.
