California dreaming (1):

Another cold day in our neck of the woods.  I spent an enjoyable chunk of it catching up over coffee chez Exile #2 (thank you!).  I walked there and back - briskly.

This evening we're thinking warmly of California's stunning coastline... Were we really there just two weeks ago?  Our holiday began with sunrise over San Francisco Bay.

We drove to Half Moon Bay...

...past Pigeon Point...

...and on to the incredible Big Sur coast south of Monterey:
