Wow! More sugar and sweeties than you could shake a candy cane at! Five teams entered, and (God bless America - and the Town Supervisor, who was judging) everyone won a prize or got an honorable mention. Accolade for Most Creative house went to none other than our friend Exile #3 and her team, with special mention going to the dog biscuit wreath on the door (nice touch!). When I saw there was a Most Architecturally Interesting prize I rather wished someone had thought to re-create a Frank Lloyd-Wright or some such - a gingerbread reproduction of the Guggenheim would have been something to behold. Or at the very least, a gingerbread eco-house would have been very cool, with a foil-wrapped bar of chocolate as a solar panel... Mmmm, I could be onto something...
Anyway, it was a nice idea and a lot of fun, as all the slightly wild-eyed, sugared-up girls in the room seemed to agree.
