Super Market

A few hours after the excitement of the Turkey Trot yesterday we went out to celebrate a relaxing, low-key Thanksgiving with good friends (such good friends, in fact, that none of them said a thing when I fell asleep for half an hour after dinner. Told you it was relaxing).

This morning saw the opening of the Fair Trade Market.  As usual everything looked wonderful, and there was a great atmosphere.  Customers came through steadily most of the day, and appeared to be spending enthusiastically.  As usual, I heard many complimentary remarks, the best being from a woman from New Jersey who told me she comes back to Bethlehem for Thanksgiving especially to attend our event.  The Times Union (our main regional newspaper) sent a photographer, so we hope his pictures will bring us some extra customers tomorrow.

The vendors all seemed happy with the day's sales when we closed at 3:00pm.  Everyone's looking forward to getting together again in the morning...
