The annual Fair Trade market is coming up at the end of the week, and it will be even bigger this year so this morning was given over to room-planning (room-plus-corridor-planning, in fact, to enable us to accomodate everyone) and other logistical juggling. Everything's looking fine - I'm beginning to worry that I should be panicking more...
The rest of the day was spent as it often is, to-ing and fro-ing. Kids to the library, one of them to dance class, grab some bread from the supermarket, collect the dancer etc etc. The Man went to another Nanovember talk, about what's going on with the absolutely enormous new nanoscience building that has gone up this year at the university - apparently it's a 4.8 billion dollar partnership between a consortium of semiconductor manufacturers and New York State aimed at making chips more cheaply by starting with a larger (450mm) silicon wafer. A "cheap as chips" project, then?
