On the Slide in the Park

The first day of December - we woke to snow on the ground.  Not much, but enough to look like winter.

The Man went on a 5k run (a bit of a slippery slide in fact) at The Crossings, Colonie.  He did quite respectably in the circumstances.

Meanwhile I was at our Farmers' Market with a friend, selling Friends of Five Rivers t-shirts and copies of a new book, Five Rivers: the History of a Special Place.  The Market was rather quiet, but we still had a good time and made some sales.

This evening we had a lot of fun at a friend's house - dinner, plus board/card games.  We'd never played Super Circles or Scrabble Slam before, but now recommend both if you're into that kind of thing.
