We were waited on by kids, and very attentive they were. In fact I don't think I have ever been so waited on in my life. But they were all having a great time and feeling useful, so that was fine.
It has been a cold day, but with sunshine and not a breath of wind it hasn't been unpleasant out. After our usual skating lesson the Girl had a snow-shoeing adventure with her Girl Scout friends at Five Rivers, so the Man and I did a bit of snowy hiking on own account and covered several trails. Our favourite nature reserve was looking very beautiful tucked up under a thick layer of white.
Tonight the temperature is dropping steadily, and the next couple of days are going to be Arctic-like, I fear.
What. no snow hat!
