For the last two days a painter has been working on the front of our house, specifically on our wooden window frames. Most of the exterior of the house is made of vinyl, as are many modern houses here - it looks a little bit like wooden siding, but doesn't need much maintenance. But whoever designed our house also gave the front of it a brick facing and two decorative wooden window frames, which have been in need of maintenance for quite a while.
The painter has done the work well, though I don't suppose anyone will notice it - it's one of those things: a bit of an eyesore if it's not done, but unremarkable once it is.
Meanwhile I've been busy busy all day ahead of our next adventure. More of that in the days to come, no doubt.
