Cleaned out

Big tidy-up in the Boy's room this morning. Very exciting - we discovered carpet.

And a major service for the car this afternoon. That meant two and half hours sitting in a waiting room reading magazines and watching Dr Phil for me, and a houseful of kids - three of her own plus mine - for Exile #2 (thank you!).

Tonight I've been having dinner with a friend, the Girl is on a sleepover, and the Boy has beaten the Man at Othello, so that's all very satisfactory (though perhaps not so much for the Man).
