For the Girl: baked beans and (NOT on) toast.
For the Boy: Shredded Wheat, without milk.
Oh, and ok, the kids also had some nuts and fruit and stuff.
In the afternoon we went on a 'candy trail' down at Five Rivers, a Thanksgiving tradition (as of today) which involved a 'candy fairy' keeping one step ahead of the rest of the party as we rounded the lake. The Girl quickly sussed what was going on, she's never been one for suspending her disbelief - if there are strings she'll always delight in pointing them out.
Asparagus in season?
