The Boy had his classmate to play and the Girl invited her friend from along the road, so everyone was happy. After all the socialising was done and we were by ourselves again we settled down to watch a DVD of the live-action (with real humans!)feature film, Thomas and the Magic Railroad. Eighty-four baffling minutes as far as I was concerned, though the Boy claimed it was 'the best movie I've ever seen', and even the Girl enjoyed it, in spite of all the trains.
Finally, look what can happen if you leave a property unattended: bloomin' squatters!
