Rice one, son

Ok, I want to put to rest the popular British misconception that Americans have no sense of irony. We found this on some food packaging, and I'm quoting verbatim:

'You'll have so much fun munching on these delicious, crunchy Plain Rice Cakes that you'll forget that they're good for you!'

And then there's an endorsement by TV chef Gordon Ramsay.

No, there isn't.

Mind you, I do know one person who actually does seem to enjoy rice cakes, and that's a little fellow who lives in this house (no, not the Man).



That same little chap woke the Man and me up yesterday by snuggling in between us, clutching his smelly blanket as always, and sighing happily 'This is the life!'

Life has got even sweeter for him this evening since he discovered an internet website supplying Thomasabilia. Behold the rapture on his face!
