The Boy had an extra-long day at school today. Band practice meant he had to get there an hour early, and from lunchtime onwards he was involved with an epic six-hour rehearsal event for his school musical. Song and dance practice and voice projection exercises, followed by not one but two complete run-throughs of the whole production, in full costume and make-up. Wow.
Oh, and ice-cream - mustn't forget the ice-cream.
The Boy seems to have enjoyed the day very much, though he came home (at 6 o'clock) quite tired and hungry, not to mention eager to scrub his make-up off.
