This morning, an invitation to the much-anticipated 5th Grade Whale Museum. The students had arranged themselves in the school cafeteria, and the parents poured in and admired all the wonderful whale models and posters. The kids in the Boy's class had produced PowerPoint presentations about their whales, too, with enjoyably fancy special effects (whirling cubes and honeycomb fade-ins etc etc).
It was hard to pick a favourite among the models. I'm obviously a bit biased towards my own son's efforts, but really they were all great. Here are a few more, to give you an idea:
