The Girl is not very given to cooking, but has occasional bursts of interest. Today she announced that she wanted to bake mini cheesecakes, from a recipe she'd tried at school. They are certainly mini, yet also quite rich and filling, and tasty - she did a good job.
Since there were no lunchboxes to prepare this morning, the kids fended for themselves during the day and the Man cooked dinner tonight (stir-fry), I haven't had to deal with food much at all today except to enjoy eating it. And though I am, these days, quite given to cooking, it's good to take a break once in a while.
