Hair-raising experiences
Here, a little later than promised, are some photos from Thursday's climb up the Beehive Trail.
I found it a bit hairy - several sections were pretty much vertical and required the use of metal supports set into the rock.
As with many of the trails we took in Acadia, there were great views from the top.
Alas, we have no whale photos to share. What with the light challenges caused by the sunset, the unpredictability of the whales, the motion of the boat and the increasing seasickness of the photographer it proved difficult to get pictures. You'll just have to take our word for it that we saw what we saw.
