We've mostly been at home today. The Girl had a friend over to play. The Boy felt he was missing out on company so phoned his classmate to invite him over:
Boy: Hi! Wanna come and play at my house?
Friend (enthusiastically): Yeah!
Friend's mother (off): Who's that?
Friend: I don't know...
Everybody eventually worked out who everyone else was, and a happy play date ensued.
A crocus has started to bloom in our front garden, which is a magical sign of Spring. However, it has been trying to snow this evening, and a fierce and bitterly cold wind is howling (sounds like an underground train crossing the backyard). Winter hasn't quite given up on us yet, I fear.
