Gnome from home?
After all the excitement of yesterday, we didn't have anything much planned for today, so it was a nice surprise to get a phone call inviting the kids round to play with a friend in the afternoon. The Man and I took the opportunity to sneak off and do a bit of shopping.
Oh, and we did also manage a family trip to a local garden center/re, not much different from UK ones but with free popcorn and rather more impressive lawnmowers.
The children reckon we should invest in a garden gnome. What do the rest of you think?

Garden gnomes can be the slippery slope to oversized plastic robins, giant butterflies, a wishing well and some Bill and Ben looky likies. However, I rather like them - in other people's gardens. Go on - give a gnome a home.
