After yesterday's environmental blog event I'm a little uncomfortable admitting that today I've been having fun getting to know our new SUV.
For those of you interested in such things, it's a Toyota RAV-4 basic (slightly less evil pollution-wise than the razzier models), with additional seats that fold away in the boot (trunk) in case we need to turn it into a bus occasionally. It has all sorts of entertaining features involving light and sound, hidden compartments everywhere, and more cup-holders than you can shake a stick at. There are even additional cup-holder upgraders hidden in one of the secret compartments. It's roomy - the kids can't kick us in the back anymore - and altogether a far cry from our faithful old Nissan Micra, which frankly we could throw into this car's boot and still leave room for a sofa or two (nah, only kidding about the sofas). Like a Chelsea tractor it's a four wheel drive, but chances are during the winter here we might actually need that facility.

For those of you much more interested in knowing about things that have fallen off trees, here's what was inside Sunday's mystery items.
None the wiser?
Walnuts. So there you go.
