It's been a long and busy day here. Refugee business in the morning, then some final house-straightening in the afternoon, plus ferrying kids from here to there and all that kind of malarkey.
It's been an even longer day for my parents, who flew from Heathrow and arrived in Boston this afternoon then had to drive here through pouring rain, gusting winds etc. But they've made it, safe and sound, and we're looking forward to some outings and adventures with them once they've caught up with themselves.
