A lot squashed in
We made a whole-family outing to the Farmers' Market this cold, bright morning. The children are so well-known at one of the cafe stalls there that the servers call in their order for them ("Home fries for [the Girl] and [the Boy]!") even before they've got to the counter. We restocked on vegetables and seitan sausage, and Mum and Dad made Our Daily Eats very happy with an extravagant purchase of muesli and nuts.
The Man and the kids spent part of the afternoon at their former school's Fall Fair (where they still hold an Instant Raffle/tombola - ha, my legacy!). Since our day there they've built a low-ropes course in the grounds, which looks like a lot of fun.
