...no, hang on. Not ready yet. The kids, in between eruptions of great silliness, managed to get about halfway through making these little bears in sewing class today. Most left their works-in-progress with me, nicely labelled, for completion next week. A couple, including my youngest student (who is only five but has about the best concentration of any in the class) insisted on taking theirs home to finish.
The Girl, meanwhile, was at Computer Club, learning to programme games. She declares the process to be "Not as exciting as the alpine slide at Jiminy Peak, yet not as boring as...being bored". Computer programmers out there, feel free to comment.
What is she learning to program with? Our Jamie was using a thing called Alice, from Carnegie Mellon, for a while, but has moved on to Python now.
ReplyDeleteHello Jon! The Girl has started learning DarkBASIC - but it's very early days.
