I had a very interesting day out with my parents visiting Franklin Roosevelt's home and Presidential Library. Both are in Hyde Park, about an hour and a half's drive from Albany. FDR and Eleanor Roosevelt were hugely impressive people for all sorts of reasons, and I plan on learning more about Eleanor in particular.
But not tonight. As part of the Man's efforts to complete an impossible tax form we are wading through all the piles of paper that have been quietly accumulating in the months we've been here. One of those thankless tasks that you endlessly put off rather than get on and tackle - then you realise that by ignoring it for so long you've made it so much harder...
