The Man took the day off work today to do a few jobs around the house, though we treated ourselves to an hour's skating at lunchtime. Unfortunately right at the end of the session on the ice I managed to crash myself and twist my knee, so that wasn't great, especially as there was no nice instructor around to praise my falling skills.
Luckily it's my left knee that's sore, and I don't need that leg to drive our automatic car. So I was able to drive to the airport tonight to meet my Mum and Dad. After more than six months we are all glad to see them again, and looking forward to their stay with us.
