Water useful thing

A pool is useful for all kinds of things.  The Boy has been honing his swimming skills in it this summer.  He has got rather good at front crawl and butterfly and can now give his dad a swim for his money.

But apart from that, a pool is good for testing out puffle submarines (the Boy and his buddy tried a new one today, featuring a "capsule within a capsule" - it kept the puffle passenger half dry, at least). 

And a pool also turns out to be the perfect place to find out where the leak is in your rubber dinghy - as our neighbour did this afternoon with the Boy's assistance.
