The Girl has been working hard today - at the farm all morning, then in the afternoon she volunteered at Grassroot Givers sorting book donations. Tonight her efforts continue and she is busy tidying her room.
At least it's been cooler today, last night's storm having broken the sultry weather as well as many trees. Two roads near us were closed for much of the day so that fallen branches could be cleared. As for the mess in our own back yard, we enlisted the help of our neighbour (who happens to run a landscaping business and has all the right gear, including a mobile chipper) to sort things out for us.
