Bidding Wars

The Boy and his buddy devised a new game this afternoon.  It's called Bidding Wars.  It's somewhat inspired by Monopoly, without all the moving round the board and community chest and such.  Each player starts with $1.5 billion and has to bid on numbered squares reminiscent of Monopoly properties and... oh, there are many rules.  Tonight the rest of us were invited to be (according to the Boy) "the hamsters...I mean guinea-pigs!" to trial the game.

Despite my best efforts to go bankrupt and exit early, I somehow managed to win.  This was not entirely in the Boy's plan and he immediately announced that he needed to do some more work on the rules.
