Tree Up, two to go

We put the Christmas tree up, and very fine it is, too - though perhaps a little over-crowded with decorations.  I may have to start doing some subtle culling.

Tonight the Man and I went out to a farewell party for the friends who came to dinner a few weeks ago - barring upsets, they hope to move to Philadelphia at the end of the week.  The party guests were a mixture of physicists and social activists, plus some football (soccer) enthusiasts - so there was much to talk about.
