Not doing the dishes

At home for the day, which was not as exciting as being in Lake Placid: a lot less boating, and a lot more ironing.  Also some dishwasher research, as ours (after an extended period of minor glitches) has given up completely and now just gushes water all over the kitchen floor.  Which - looking on the bright side - makes for a clean floor, but does leave us with a lot of washing up.
