I get up to all sorts these days. First thing this morning I attended a breakfast gathering hosted by the local Chamber of Commerce. There was a presentation on social networking, which I'm reluctantly trying to get my head round as a means to promoting fair trade events. It was followed by a presentation on employment legislation, which I fully expected to snooze through, but which turned out to be strangely riveting. I'm now certain that I never want to become an employer - what a bureaucratic nightmare, worse even than applying for a driver's licence.
I've received a report from the Girl's camp - they are all, I'm reliably informed, "having way too much fun". Mustn't be too awful then.
