Mid-September

We've had beautiful weather today but it's not set to last, so once the kids were home and caught up with themselves I whisked them off to Five Rivers to make the most of it. We hoped we might spot a beaver, but it wasn't to be. We did see a beautiful heron, though, and I managed to snap some pictures of various other wildlife:

    The wildlife in the middle photo has the biggest eyes but the wildlife in the third photo is prettier!

    Just caught up on the last week's blogging. Lovely pictures (smashing pumpkins), lovely writing. If the man decides to go down that ski jump, don't forget to video it. As for the ugly trainers - let me know if he wears them, and what wily means you used.
